Want to Volunteer at Sequoia?

We welcome parent volunteers on campus!  

To volunteer on campus, you must gain volunteer clearance with MDUSD.  Please click HERE for full instructions and requirements.

The requirements include: 1) Get Fingerprinted 2) Get a TB test (or complete risk assessment with your physician) within 60 days of applying 3) Complete the online volunteer application. 

This process can take up to a month to complete and obtain clearance.  Once you are cleared by the District office, all visitors must sign in and obtain a Visitor's badge/sticker (to be worn at all times on campus). Visitors need to return to the office to sign out at the end of their visit. Please do NOT go directly to your student's class without signing in at the office.

 

 

Visiting Campus

In order to eliminate unnecessary classroom interruptions, we request that parents and other visitors leave messages or forgotten items in the School Office for their student (in this way, the teacher can be given the article or message at his/her break time, rather than interrupting students instructional time to retrieve items). We appreciate your cooperation.  We understand items can be forgotten but we do encourage independence and responsibility in our students such that when they arrive on campus they have all the belongings they need to get through the day and be ready to learn!
